Thank you for choosing Bethesda Conservatory of Dance for your child.  We offer high quality, low pressure technique classes to dancers of multiple levels.  We strive to meet each child’s needs from beginner through advanced in a warm and welcoming environment.  Kids are under enough pressure; we will not add more as we provide a real dance education in a non-competitive environment.  We ask that children wear dancewear as described at https://www.bethesdaconservatoryofdance.com/dress-code-requirements .  The dancer must have all required clothing and shoes within two weeks of joining class. 

Though you may purchase your dancewear anywhere, we have an online option for your convenience https://www.shopnimbly.com/BethesdaConservatoryofDance.  Shoe fitting days will be scheduled throughout the year!

An annual $65.00 registration fee will be applied for each family for the 2022-2023 season.

Students must reach the age requirement for the class by September 1, 2022.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT AGE UP STUDENTS.

Classes that do not reach the minimum number of enrolled students will be cancelled and refunded.  Classes marked by an * require teacher and director approval, a pre-requisite, and/or additional enrollment commitments to participate. Not seeing what you are looking for?  Call us, new classes are forming all the time.

This school year based session is billed as an annual fee broken down into 5 bi-monthly payments.  Tuition is charged on September 1, November 1, January 1, March 1, and May 1.  Parents must submit a request to stop payment 2 weeks prior to billing if they would like to stop classes. No exceptions can be made to this policy.

Welcome Week Begins August 27, 2022 with regular classes beginning on September 6, 2022. Classes run through June 16, 2023. The final day to drop for the season without penalty is April 14, 2023. Accounts that are not paid in full by May 1, 2023 may not participate in recital.  Once enrolled, we will not pro-rate partial months. Family multi-class discounts are available.

Dancewear, including recital costumes, are at an additional cost determined by the manufacturer.  A costume fee of $80.00-$125.00 will be billed on November 15, 2023.  Those not wishing to participate in recital must notify the studio by November 1, 2022. Costumes ordered after November 15, 2022 will be charged an additional $30.00 processing and shipping fee.

Our session begins on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. 

August 27-September 2, 2022 is Welcome Week. All dancers may have 1 person join them during their regular class time in the dance room to meet the teacher, hear studio announcements, and take pictures/videos.  This is an informational week.  No lessons will be held.

 Dancers must arrive in full dress code and change into dance shoes when they enter.  Students ages 3 and up must be able to separate** and attend class with Staff/Faculty.  Dancers presenting with any COVID symptoms or symptoms of any communicable disease will be denied access and sent home.  Students may take their class virtually upon request with advance notice.

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR ANY REASON.

** Creative Movement for 2 year old dancers may have 1 adult accompany them in class. Adults must be prepared to dance with their child.  Observers will be asked to wait outside.
