Dancers of all ages and levels are welcome to participate, from beginners to advanced performers. While no prior acrobatic experience is required, we strongly encourage students to supplement their Acro Dance training by studying Ballet, Jazz, and/or Lyrical techniques. These dance forms will further develop their skills, enhance their body control, and provide a strong foundation for their acrobatic endeavors.

Under the guidance of our expert instructors, your dancer will embark on a journey of flexibility, strength, and artistry. Throughout the course, they will master fundamental acrobatic skills such as handstands, cartwheels, backbends, and walkovers. Our instructors, who are certified by AcroArts, will ensure that you develop the strength, agility, and body awareness necessary to execute these moves safely and confidently.

Girls are required to wear a solid color leotard, footless tights, and tight-fitting jazz shorts. Boys are required to wear bike shorts and a solid color tank top (Boys over age 9 must wear a dance belt). Loose-fitting clothing is discouraged as it can pose risks during spotting and spotting techniques.

In addition to mastering acrobatic skills, this class will also emphasize dance elements such as balance, extension, and artistic expression. You'll learn how to seamlessly transition between acrobatic tricks and dance sequences, creating a mesmerizing blend of grace and power. As you immerse yourself in the artistry of acro dance, you'll discover new ways to connect with music, tell stories through movement, and captivate audiences with your unique style.

Our Acro Dance class provides a supportive and inclusive environment where dancers can thrive. In our Poms classes, students will engage in an invigorating aerobic warm-up that focuses on building strength, enhancing isolations, and improving flexibility. Through traveling exercises across the floor, dancers will develop their agility and spatial awareness.

Combinations will be taught to help students refine their technique and coordination. Level-appropriate turns and jumps will be incorporated to enhance their performance skills.

To ensure a well-rounded dance education, Poms students are encouraged to attend at least one hip hop, lyrical, or jazz class per week. This additional training will enrich their dance vocabulary, enhance their musicality, and broaden their movement capabilities.

During performances, Poms dancers captivate the audience with their synchronized routines, high-energy moves, and dynamic presence. Sporting events provide a thrilling platform for our students to showcase their talent, boost team spirit, and entertain the crowd.

To maintain a unified appearance, all dancers are required to wear black leggings and a solid color leotard. Tan or brown split-sole jazz shoes should be worn to ensure proper foot support and enhance performance quality.

To create a neat and focused environment, it is essential that hair is securely and neatly secured during classes and performances. This ensures that hair does not interfere with the dancer's movements and allows for maximum concentration and enjoyment.

Join us for Poms, where students can unleash their energy, embrace precision, and bring the excitement of dance to sporting events. Our experienced instructors, engaging choreography, and supportive team atmosphere will inspire you to shine on the dance floor.

Please note that enrollment in the Poms program is subject to availability and additional requirements.

Pre-Pointe/Pointe: Building Strength and Alignment for Pointe Work
Welcome to our Pre-Pointe/Pointe program, a specialized training designed to prepare dancers for the beautiful and challenging art of dancing en pointe. This program focuses on building the strength, technique, and alignment necessary for successful pointe work.

Admission to the Pre-Pointe/Pointe program is by teacher recommendation and director approval. Our experienced instructors assess dancers to ensure they are physically and technically prepared for the demands of dancing on pointe. The program is designed to develop the strength, stability, and proper technique required for dancing en pointe.

Dancers enrolled in the Pre-Pointe/Pointe program will participate in a non-performing technique class that spans 75 minutes. The focus of the class is to strengthen the muscles specific to pointe work and refine alignment. The program emphasizes the importance of proper technique and injury prevention.

To be considered for evaluation for pointe shoes, dancers must be enrolled in the Pre-Pointe/Pointe program for a minimum of two years on a year-round basis. This duration ensures that dancers have sufficient time to develop the necessary strength, technique, and readiness for dancing en pointe. The program aims to prioritize the health and well-being of our dancers.

There will be no performance element in the Pre-Pointe/Pointe program, as the primary focus is on technical progress and readiness for pointe work. Dancers will work diligently on building their strength, alignment, and technique in preparation for the transition to pointe shoes.

During the Pre-Pointe/Pointe classes, dancers are required to wear a leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers. Hair must be securely and neatly styled in a bun, ensuring that it does not interfere with the dancer's movements and alignment. This creates a clean and professional appearance while promoting a safe dance environment.

In addition to the required dance attire, dancers will need a tennis ball and therabands. These tools will be utilized for specific exercises that target the strength and flexibility of the feet and ankles, crucial for pointe work.

Join us for our Pre-Pointe/Pointe program, where dedicated dancers can embark on their journey towards dancing en pointe. Our experienced instructors, focused training, and supportive class environment will guide you as you develop the necessary foundation for successful pointe work.

Please note that admission to the Pre-Pointe/Pointe program requires director's approval, and enrollment is subject to availability and meeting the necessary prerequisites.
